New this year - Build a birdhouse to take home. The Seniors' Woodworkers from the David Durwood and Alan Reuter Centres will assist the children in assembling a birdhouse from pre-cut pieces. There are only 150 available. Wrist bands will be given to the first 150 kids that wish a bird house so that they don't have to stand in line. Come early so you will not be disappointed.

New this year - Ultra Mutts trick dog show. A 'howling' good time for the entire family!!

New this year - Sciensational Sssnakes from Scales Nature Park in Orillia - See the snakes - hear Jenny's fabulous stories

New this year - Canadian Raptor Conservancy - Shauna will bring birds of prey for a fabulous display and demonstration

New this year - ESQ (Engineering Science Quest) from U of Waterloo will present science experiments to stimulate the mind! They will also be our new craft activity sponsor for this year as well. Come and make a Riverbug pet of your very own!!

Back by popular demand - Blue Heron Rafting (Brantford) is back. Come early - all spots were taken by early afternoon. View old Galt from the river as you have never seen it before! We have added one more raft this year to accommodate the crowds.

Back by popular demand - Paddle Boat Lagoon - hand powered paddle boats for the little ones. Come early - line ups were long all day.

New this year - Golden Triangle Marine Modellers - See their models - Float your boat on the Grand - Club members will supervise "kid driven" boats.

New this year - Waterloo Regional Police Service will have some officers, a cruiser and a motorcycle on hand. Flash some lights - sound a siren - talk shop with a cop!!

New this year - Waterloo Regional EMS will have an ambulance and a paramedic on hand to show their vehicle and answer your questions.

New this year - The Cambridge Fire Dept will be presenting two demonstrations of a river rescue -- at 10:30 and 2:00. As usual, they will have two trucks and crews to answer questions about their equipment and their work

New this year - Axxess 33 will be up on George Street demonstrating skateboards.

New this year - Summer Chef School for Kids - prepare some pasta! (hands on demonstration only - there is no cooking or eating at this activity)

New this year - The Brain Injury Association (Lidz on Kidz) of Waterloo-Wellington will be give free helmet fittings to protect young heads. No helmets will be for sale.
