Planning for this year's Riverfest is well underway! This annual family event is fun for kids and adults of all ages. With dragon boat races throughout the day, free daytime concerts, free kids entertainment and activities, and a variety of food and craft vendors, Riverfest is a perfect day out for the whole family. Detailed vendor information is located on the Arts, Crafts & Food section. As always, Riverfest is looking for volunteers who want to be involved in one of the city's most exciting summertime events! With a variety of positions available there is all kinds of ways to get involved and have some fun!

New for 2008

Family Division
Ages 12 yrs old and up.
Get your neighbours together, call up the cousins!  This is going to be an experience they will not want to miss.  You have heard of family feud?  Well... this is family fun!
Up to 16 paddlers plus a drummer together in a 41foot dragonboat.  You will race three times 150m races...that is less than 2 minutes of paddling power!
Come out and join in the fun. Cost is $500 per team of 17 people. 
Practices available to participating teams June 2-June 6
